- Design end-to-end product experiences across our healthcare platform: From clinical documentation tools and workflow configuration interfaces to patient-facing mobile apps.
- Create dev-ready UI designs using our component library (Shadcn) and evolve our design system iteratively as new features ship.
- Conduct user research with clinicians and patients, translating frontline insights into intuitive workflows that balance clinical complexity with usability.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and clinical stakeholders to refine requirements, challenge assumptions, and ensure designs meet both user needs and compliance standards.
- Champion accessibility best practices, ensuring our products serve diverse patient populations and clinical users.
- Shape and establish our design practice from the ground up: Define processes, rituals, and ways of working that scale with the team (applies to permanent role)

Your responsibilities
Who we are looking for
- 4+ years professional experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both UI and UX capabilities across web and mobile platforms.
- Deep expertise in Figma, including component libraries, design systems, prototyping, and developer handoff workflows.
- Experience designing complex B2B SaaS products or enterprise tools where users manage workflows, data, or multi-step processes.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Ability to balance user advocacy with business constraints, technical feasibility, and regulatory requirements.
- Comfortable working autonomously while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and facilitate productive critique.
- Bonus: Experience with healthcare software, clinical workflows, or regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, fintech).
- Bonus: Familiarity with Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, Flutter, or modern front-end frameworks to understand technical constraints and opportunities.
- Bonus: German language skills for direct interaction with clinical users.
